1. Eligibility
The Future Pioneers Award is open to individuals, groups, corporates, schools and universities across the region, as defined on the award’s homepage. Entrants under 18 must have consent from a parent or legal guardian to submit an entry.
BEEAH Education reserves the right to verify eligibility at any stage of the competition and to disqualify any entry that does not meet the published criteria.
2. Submission requirements
Entries must be original work, submitted through the official application portal before the published deadline. Submissions may take the form of sustainability initiatives, documentaries, prototypes or solutions, as described in the categories published on the award’s homepage.
Incomplete, late, or duplicate submissions will not be considered. Each entrant or team may submit more than one entry, provided each entry meets the category requirements on its own.
3. Intellectual property
Entrants retain ownership of the intellectual property in their submissions. By submitting an entry, entrants grant BEEAH Education a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to reproduce, display and promote the submission in connection with the award, including on the award’s website, social media and marketing materials.
Entrants warrant that their submission does not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party.
4. Judging
All eligible entries are reviewed by an independent jury appointed by BEEAH Education. Judging criteria include originality, feasibility, sustainability impact and quality of presentation. The jury’s decisions are final and not subject to appeal.
BEEAH Education reserves the right to disqualify any entry found to violate these terms, at any stage of the review process.
6. Code of conduct
Entrants agree to act with honesty and integrity throughout the competition, and to refrain from any conduct that could be considered fraudulent, defamatory or harmful to other participants, judges or BEEAH Education.
7. Limitation of liability
BEEAH Education is not liable for any loss, damage or expense arising from participation in the award, including but not limited to technical failures, submission errors, or delays outside its reasonable control.
8. Privacy
Personal data collected as part of an application is processed in accordance with BEEAH Education’s privacy practices, and is used solely for the purposes of administering the award, communicating with entrants and, where consented to, future award-related communications.
